This is an open edition linocut. It depicts an Alpine Ibex doing what they do best – climbing up and down impossible mountainsides! Signed and dated in pencil.
Note that I have TWO versions of this print. The first was created as intended, but then I decided to try some intaglio printing and pulled off the only one (so far) which you can see in the second photo.
Carved from Marmoleum flooring tile. This is a very thin but dense material and would be suitable for intaglio as noted above.
The image size is 6×6″ and the paper has a 1/2″ border outside.
Soy-based ink on heavy archival paper.
