“Backlit Spider”

I got this one out of sequence somehow. I made two or three linocuts about eight years or so before getting back into them again. This was the result of that renewal of interest.

This is an open edition. It depicts a spider hanging from some vegetation, backlit by the late (or early!) sun. Signed and dated in pencil Aug 2018 (creation date).

The paper size is 11″ x 14″ and the image size is 8″x6″. It will fit inside a standard frame to show the entire sheet, or you can crop it to 8″x10″ if you wish. The second photo shows what it would look like in a standard 11″x14″ frame with an 8″x10″ matt.

Soy-based oil ink on Borden and Riley archival paper.

US$20 from my Etsy store. Direct LINK.
