“1970’s Green”

My latest acrylic and gouache painting is on 8″ x 10″ acid-free Canson Mix Media Artboard, with paint right to edges of board.

Painting is completely sealed with acrylic satin varnish. Could be placed in standard frame with no glass needed.

I grew up with these phones in the UK. Calling Emergency Services then (and maybe still?) involved dialling 999 (not the 911 that North Americans are used to), and as such this would take many precious seconds as you waited for the “9” to rotate all the way back to the starting position each time! The colour, of course, was classic to the 1970’s.

Available in my Etsy shop – https://www.etsy.com/ca/listing/1200390638/

Painted as part of the #objectpaintchallenge on Instagram – @vivianaschettiniart and @colorila
