“KOI”

In keeping with my previous post, here is another painting of a Koi fish.

Completed in 2017, this is a signed and dated original acrylic and colored pencil expressionistic painting of a KOI fish.

Image size is 6″ x 3.5″ on an 8″ x 10″ sheet of Terrastone “paper”. This paper is actually not made from trees, nor is it plastic. It is made from limestone and while thin is completely waterproof and tearproof (unless cut). It is a very unique paper to paint on and there are not that many artists I have found that use it. It does not curl, but it will fold and crease if mishandled (just as any paper would!)
