Heart-shaped Ring Holder

I designed this ring holder to function either as the name indicates, but also to serve a double function as a ring holder when presenting a ring as a gift. The heart separates and the two halves can be secured with a binding of the owner’s choice; leather, cord, chain, silk, etc. 3D Printed in ceramic and available in many colours.

Dr Strange Pendant and Cloak Fittings

I had a client approach me who was interested in putting together a cosplay outfit of Dr Strange that he could wear at an upcoming convention. I only had some very rough production movie stills (the movie wasn’t yet released at the time) to work with but managed to complete the below. The Eye of Agamotto pendant was made to split in half so that the client could put an LED light inside. The cloak fittings were eventually made in 3D Printed nylon that he then painted with a metallic finish. All in all the project turned out quite well, I think.

Wu Lou in 24kt Gold-Plated Steel

Wu Lou in 24kt Gold-Plated Steel

This is my representation of an Asian Wu Lou (see below) and is made of stainless steel that has been plated with 24kt gold.

The Wu Lou or Hu Lu is said to have the ability to absorb bad chi energy, and the reason that Taoist monks use the calabash to imprison evil spirits. According to Chinese mythology, Monks and Deities of the Taoist belief made use of the calabash Wu Lou by imprisoning evil spirits inside to stop them from causing more problems. This is where the Wu Lou got the ideology of being able to absorb negative chi in your surroundings.

The Wu Lou was originally used as a Feng Shui cure as a health enhancer and protector as the calabash was used to store medicine although traditional medicine would usually be a wine or spirit which is how the Wu Lou was adapted in to a wealth cure as alcohol became a symbol of wealth.
