This is another of my jewellery or trinket dishes that I completed at the end of 2023. It features a lighthouse in a coastal landscape. The water was created with resin and the rest of the dish is comprised of polymer clay and my own paper pulp mache. The non-resin parts have been coated with exterior grade urethane. The dish is fairly lightweight but strong.
It is approximately 5 inches in diameter and the lighthouse has an itty bitty glow-the-dark light. Certainly not bright enough to light anything, but it can be seen in the dark.
This is a unique, one-of-a-kind item and is splash resistant but should never be soaked in water. I have signed it with my maker’s mark and the date on the bottom.
