I completed this Earthtone essential oil diffuser or small trinket dish near the end of 2023 but have only just listed it in my Etsy shop. It is made from clean recycled paper pulp that I make, then painted and coated with resin on the top half and satin urethane on the lower half. Signed with my initials, maker’s mark and year on the underside.
These small dishes that I make are idea for use as a room freshener; simply place a ball of cotton wool in it and place a few drops of an essential oil of your choice into it. The fragrance lasts for many days. Much better than a commercial air freshener with unknown chemicals sprayed around the room.
The finished dishes are very strong and would withstand more abuse than a ceramic or clay one. They cannot be soaked in water, however.
