Tree of Life Decoration

I finished this at the end of ’23, made a little too late for the Christmas season (to hang on a tree). I carved the piece from Durham’s Putty and made the surround with papier mache. It always surprises me how hard papier mache becomes once dried. I’ve attached a few of the in-process shots below.
