The second completed jewelry or trinket dish as noted from my previous blog post. This one uses real pebbles to one side of the dish that are encased in resin to give it that river’s edge feel. The background of pebbles are my own images that I have decoupaged on the paper mache base. The underside has been coated in exterior grade urethane and the entire top is resin coated. It measures approximately 4 inches in diameter.
Splash resistant but not water soakable. Paper mache has survived centuries through antiquity and I like the fact that it is lightweight but strong. (Note that I do not use flour in my paper mache recipe).
This can be purchased direct from me here, or via Etsy where you will find the price a bit higher due to their fees. Direct link to Etsy product page.
The cost to buy from me here is US$35 which includes tracked shipping from Canada to the US or Canada. Any other countries I’m afraid $20 will have to be added for tracking. Contact me at gslinger@rogers.com
