It seems to me that Werther’s Original candies become the de-facto candy of choice in North America, once you reach a certain age. I’m not going to say what that age is, but I do like them myself! I just recently completed this painting in acrylic and gouache; image size is 6″x4″ and paper size is 7″x5″. Painting is completely sealed with acrylic gloss varnish. Could be mounted to a board and placed in standard frame with no glass needed.
