A client approached me with a request to make a duplicate pair of earrings to match one that she’d lost. I worked on the design from a blurry photo of the remaining earring and then had the wax mold 3D printed by Shapeways. This was then cast in silver. Available from my shop on Shapeways.

Egyptian God Ra Pendant
A chunky, solid sterling silver pendant based on an image of the Egyptian god Ra, a man with the head of a falcon.
From the Wiki entry on Ra: “All forms of life were believed to have been created by Ra, who called each of them into existence by speaking their secret names. Alternatively humans were created from Ra’s tears and sweat, hence the Egyptians call themselves the “Cattle of Ra.” In the myth of the Celestial Cow it is recounted how mankind plotted against Ra and how he sent his eye as the goddess Sekhmet to punish them. When she became bloodthirsty she was pacified by mixing beer with red dye.”

Nautilus Submarine Dollhouse Parts
Client requested just one part to be made for a dollhouse he was making based on Jules Verne’s Nautilus submarine from “20,000 Leagues Under the Sea” – a classic that I well remember reading and watching as a movie. I quickly became engrossed in the project myself and ended up making the circular viewing windows, diving exit port, and helmets for the characters. Client did all the painting.
This was a fascinating project that I think you’ll agree turned out pretty amazing.
Spartan Helmet Ring in Sterling Silver
This is my latest ring design – a representation of an ancient Spartan solder’s helmet, complete with battle damage. Made of solid sterling silver, the inside band has “.925 GJS” inside for sterling and my maker’s mark.
