Fine Art
I have had an interest in fine art sculpture for many years (as well as being a hobby artist in traditional and digital painting) and I see this new technology as a means of being able to design and create “sculptures”. I have a few designs already made offered for sale, but what I aim to do is offer one-off, or truly unique, items – just as an artist creates a single piece of art – that would only be available directly through me. Once that “one” item is sold there will be no others made.
A Certificate of Authentication will be supplied with each of these items, traditionaly used with prints of paintings, etc., but in this case it would be a “1 of 1″.
As an example, one such model I have created is that of an Easter Island Head available in two sizes, one smaller and cheaper version that could be considered an “open edition” print in usual terms, but there is also a larger version in Stainless Steel that I offer – at a greater price – but only ONE can be purchased. Once that is sold I will never offer another in that material or size.
